Say "NO" to Polyester Stroller Liners!

Mothers love eco-friendly products and prefer growing their babies "green" from day one. Lately it is a new trend. Mothers buy organic food, clothes and toys but do mothers ever think about a "green" stroller?

I often see babies seating in their strollers with an attractive cotton-like fabric, that is in fact synthetic. Mothers often forget to think about environmental credentials of the fabrics that their child sits on and touches every day. At the end of the day, material choice can either help or harm our health and health of out little ones.

Strollers may be made of heavy metals like lead and arsenic, which are known as irritating chemicals and may induce allergies. Stroller seats are made of synthetic fabrics that are a source of toxins adversely affecting our health and health of the planet. That is why it is important to protect our little ones by using a stroller liner made of natural materials and free of toxins.

I personally was not able to find a stroller liner that would not use a polyester fabric or polyester cushion inside, as polyester is the worst fabric you can buy. It is made of synthetic polymers that are made from esters of dihydric alcohol and terphalic acid. Many companies make stroller liners made of cotton, but they fill these liners with polyester! So, after a long search and many hours of browsing online looking for that "ideal" natural stroller liner, I realized it doesn't exist. I envisioned a new "green" stroller liner for mothers like myself and Strollababy company was born.

Today, Strollababy makes beautiful stroller cushions made of 100% cotton inside and outside! The design is simple yet elegant. These liners make any stroller a comfortable and safe place for little ones! Babies can finally enjoy their stroller rides while mothers have a peace of mind. Check company's Etsy Shop today! Cutest Ponytail Holders for Your Little Princess!

Chris Rea has a beautiful song I always liked called "Little Blonde Plaits," and fortunately I can now sing it to my daughter. She has beautiful blonde hair. However, it takes skills to keep it away from falling into her eyes.

When Sophie turned one, I was able to put her hair into a little ponytail but I did not have anything to hold it with. So I started looking for ponytail holders on Etsy.com and I found a great shop! CuckooBoo has everything you need to make a beautiful baby hairdo, including hair clips, pins and ponytail holders.

If you have a little princess at home and have some free time to experiment with baby's hair, then you will soon add the CuckooBoo Shop to your favorite online shopping destinations!

Stroller liners for comfortable stroller rides

I started looking for a stroller long before my daughter's birth. After many hours of browsing online and an extensive research, I finally made a significant investment into our first stroller. It was my biggest disappointment when the stroller arrived and I found out that the seat of the stroller did not provide enough cushion for the baby and, most importantly, it was made of polyester!

I cannot have my baby sit on the polyester cover in a 80F degree weather, can I? So I started a new search. This time, I was looking for an all natural stroller liner. After many hours of search I gave up and decided that I must invent a product suitable for my needs. Strollababy was created.

Comfortable, naturally soft and foldable stroller liner for happy tushies!

Strollababy Shop on Etsy offers stroller accessories for parents, who are looking for natural liners for their little ones. Most liners on the market claim to be 100% cotton, however, are filled with polyester, which traps the heat and makes baby hot, sweaty and irritable. Strollababy liner features 100% cotton front and back plus 100% natural cotton double padding for extra comfort of your child. The combination is highly breathable, helping to keep baby cool in summer days and warm in the winter. This helps reduce the risk of eczema and skin irritations. Designed to fit all regular 5-point harness strollers. The liner is reversible - just flip over for another look!

They are easy to put on and take off and are machine washable. These liners have an hourglass shape and fit most regular 5 point harness strollers where straps come apart and can be threaded through the holes of the liner. Strollers that fit this liner include (but are not limited to):
Inglesina, Bugaboo (Donkey, Cameleon, Bee (For the Bee model liner will overhang seat), Phil and Teds main seat, Mamas and Papas, Quinny, BabyLove, Steelcraft (including Agile), Baby Jogger (City Mini, City Mini GT, City Select, Elite), Maclaren, Peg Perego, Uppababy,
Mountain Buggy (including Swift).

Another important feature of these liners is that they are lightweight and fold with your stroller! You will find it to be a convenient feature when you get your tot an umbrella stroller. I found it very handy during all travel trips with my baby girl. The stroller would fold with ease, just like there would be no liner. Most liners on the market have a thick cushion, which will not let you fold your stroller.

A bed your tot always dreamed about!

This is a fantastic find and it is definitely coming to our home with the birth of our second baby. I wish I found this bed when Sophie was younger, as she never liked her crib. I guess she never felt secure behind those crib bars and she was always frightened of the "sleep" time.

It was until the day we bought a low frame queen size bed for our fourth bedroom and Sophie took possession of it the very same day. She climbed into the bed and covered herself with a blanket. It was the moment when me and my husband decided our daughter was ready for her "big girl" bed. We were all beyond happy! Sophie was 15 months old.

Today, Sophie is 21 months old and she loves going to sleep! She brings her teddy bear and books to bed, and she enjoys climbing on it by herself. The frame of the bed is low and we were never afraid she might fall down.

Beautiful design with no sharp edges

Parents often ask when is a good time to make a transition from crib to bed. Many parents are afraid to remove those crib bars as they think it will remove the bedtime boundaries. However, it was never a case for us. Sophie goes to bed according to her set schedule and she enjoys falling asleep knowing she is not trapped behind the bars.

I personally think that kids have to feel comfortable when they go to sleep and when they wake up. And, as long as it is safe for your child, "freedom" may actually be a beneficial thing for you and your toddler.

wooden toys that last for generations

When Sophie entered a teething stage, I started browsing internet for natural, safe and well-crafted wooden toys that could substitute plastic toys. Plastic often contains harmful chemicals, such as lead, Phthalates, or Bisphenol A (BPA). The toys made of plastic brake easily and many times have sharp edges or batteries inside (that baby can chew on). As a parent, my first priority was safety for my child and I decided to try wooden toys. I found a wonderful shop on Esty KeepsakeToys, which sells beautiful handmade wooden toys and teethers. All toys are made out of non-splintering solid maple wood and sanded smooth. The teethers are very comfortable for children to hold in their little hands and safe to put in their mouth. The shop offers customization: you can engrave a name of your child, which will give a toy a special meaningful value. The toys have loopholes and you can attach them to your child's favorite lovie. Another great shop on Etsy Strollababy sells beautifully made lovies with detachable beeswax maple teething rings. This is a creative and safe way to keep your child busy for some time. The lovies are perfect size and became our favorite travel companion.
